I am Matthew David Grant, an artist from Dallas, TX who currently resides in Utah. I am the father of four incredible children. Helping my family is the core focus and purpose of my life. I work with acrylics and oils, and use a variety of methods to achieve the realistic aesthetic that I aim for. I am proud to hold an MFA from The Academy of Art in San Francisco with an emphasis in Figure Painting. I began my professional journey in 2000 and have participated in several collaborative projects and exhibited my work worldwide.
I take a unique approach to art and believe in constantly taking risks, as I find inspiration wherever I look. My style focuses on stylizing the details in nature in an abstract way while maintaining a vivid photorealist look. My ultimate goal is to capture and bring to life the images that I and others are interested in.
