Story Behind the Art
Story Behind the Art
Waterfalls to me are both paradoxical and magical at the same time. I love the mesmerizing continuous, movement as if alive – yet it truth it is falling, pounding water. The waterfall is called Monkey Rock and is found just north of Teton Idaho and flows from there into the Teton River. This painting was started as a demo in my BYUI landscape class using a 9”x12” plein air painting as a basis then finished later at home in my studio.
