Inspired by the New Testament parable of the Lost Sheep, this piece is a reminder that Christ leaves the 99 the search for the one. This piece depicts the Good Shepherd after a long day of searching, coming home with his precious lost sheep. This piece was created during some scary and potentially life threatening pregnancy complications the artist experienced with her second daughter . The dark, moody colors echo the fear and uncertainty the artist had to navigate while also reconciling her faith that the situation was in God’s hands. When the artist completed the piece, it was a confirmation to her that like the sheep, Christ would carry her through this.
