The Daisy and The Butterfly

"We (Tooele County Arts Guild members interested in Plein Air) painted in Jans friends back yard, and I took a bunch of photos while there. I painted a little backyard scene that isnt finished yet, but this photo came back to my studio and became the largest Flower painting Ive ever done.
Every picture tells a story. This represents the cycle of life, the dependance of flowers on little creatures for pollination, and the beautiful environment of growth created for us."
