This is Christ walking with his disciples to Gethsemane where he arrives at the place that has been prepared for him to carry the weight of the world. This is a heavy moment because he is now entering the well anticipated moment that he could not fully comprehend but yet willingly went.
Christ is surrounded in a grove of olive trees where the moon light is coming down illuminating the ground in the middle of the composition. Christ is in white.
