Receive Thy Sight

"Receive Thy Sight" captures a miraculous moment of Christ''s healing found in the Bible. The painting depicts Christ with a hand tenderly placed over the eyes of a man, a gesture that Lee interprets as an expression of profound love. Lee shares her thoughts on the image: "the way Christ is standing over him... it just speaks to how much love he is giving." This sentiment is central to the piece, emphasizing the compassion and healing power of Christ. The mutual grasp of hands signifies a deeper connection and trust, with Lee expressing that "Christ... wants to heal us every day... whatever it is." In this artwork, the act of receiving sight goes beyond the literal sense to include broader meanings of understanding and inspiration. The message is clear: Christ''s healing is available to all who seek it, in whatever form it may be needed. Reproduced from the artist''s original artwork of Watercolor on Paper 10.5 x 9.5.
