Let Earth Receive Her King

Each Christmas I try and create a new Nativity painting. This is my Nativity painting for 2024. I wanted this piece to feel like a celebration of the Savior''s birth. I wanted all of the animals and people watching to be looking towards baby Jesus. I included the shepherds and the wise men together because to me it captures all of the symbolism I love about Christmas. In the Bible we learn that the wise men did not actually visit Jesus until He was a toddler, but I wanted to include them in this piece. Joy to the world, the Lord is come; let earth receive her King!
