In His Hands

Underneath this painting is a study of a mountain that I didn’t feel the need to keep, so I decided to paint over the top of it so that I didn’t waste the linen panel. At first I didn’t think much of it, but really there is great symbolism there with this small child’s hands in Christ’s hands. The world can seem so daunting for these small children in the world with many mountains that seem to be in the way, but with being in Christ’s hands and remembering what He has done for us, they will be okay.
