I'll Walk With You - Girl

I am so grateful that when I was a little girl, I was taught that Christ would always be walking with me. That I’d never be completely alone. That truth got me through so much heartache and trauma as a child, and it’s still what I cling to every day. That He walks with me. He never leaves. He is the one who stays.

I have to decide to walk with Him as well. It’s a decision I try to make daily. He is unwavering - the one who wanders away is me. And I want to do my best to stay by Him and walk with Him.

When I painted this, I thought of little Paige. This image brings so much peace to my heart. I know He was walking with me through the sadness, and I know He still walks with me today. May this painting be a reminder to you, your children, and your inner child that He is right next to you, His hand reached out to you. May we remember to take hold of His hand, and to share that love with others who may feel that they are walking alone.
