HEALED captures the profound moment when Christ restores sight to a blind man, symbolizing His unparalleled ability to bring clarity and redemption. This painting is not only a portrayal of physical healing but also a deeply personal reflection of my own journey. Before finding faith, I grappled with addiction for over a decade, experiencing a spiritual blindness that kept me distant from truth and honesty. Through my conversion to Christianity, I discovered the love and healing power of Christ, who, in His mercy, lifted the burdens that had weighed on me. This artwork stands as a testament to the transformation that is possible when we surrender our struggles to Him, acknowledging that true freedom can only be found in His embrace.

In addition to being a visual reminder of Christ’s power, HEALED is also a prayer for those facing similar battles. Particularly, it is a heartfelt intercession for men who are struggling with addiction, as I once did. The painting calls them to turn their gaze to Christ, who alone can provide lasting healing and a restored sense of purpose. May this work inspire hope and remind viewers that, no matter how deep the darkness, Christ's light can penetrate and bring about a profound and lasting change in their lives.
