Now Christ had healed many, walked miles, performed miracles, lived a perfect life, still he knew his journey on earth was for a short time. He came to give hope and show God's love to all.
In this painting, Facing Eternity, by Del Parson, we see Christ pondering. Perhaps he was thinking about all there was to do. Perhaps he was thinking of the torture to come as he became the sacrifice for all at the Cross. One thing we know for certain, he loved the people then and he loves us now. Christ came to give us life to the fullest in eternity with God. His thoughts were always Facing eternity.
Jeremiah 29:11: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Our Float Frame is custom-made with a small gap between the frame and canvas to accentuate the edges of the artwork and give the illusion of a floating image within the frame.
