Always Captivating Plein Air

This is the plein air study I did of the waterfall at Monkey Rock near Teton Idaho that I used as a basis for the larger painting Turbulent Beauty. To me, waterfalls are magical and almost living; their continual movements, yet always in the same patterns, are captivating.
