Suffering comes to all of us. Men and women suffer many similar things, but some trials are exclusively unique to men and to women.
In this particular piece, a woman is embraced by Christ who not only perfectly understands, but perfectly feels every experience (generic or unique) that she has felt.
Because of the atonement of Christ, we have access to One who has perfect empathy for us: Jesus Christ. We can rest assured and have confidence that even in the midst of our darkest moments, He is with us because He was there too.
